The good news is, no the great news is, there is an easy, and even fun way to change the program in your head to shift your thinking without willpower. A small(ish) change and you could be achieving your goals and be loving every minute of it.
A shift in your thinking and you could Lose weight
A shift in your thinking and you could Get fit
A shift in your thinking and you could Reduce the stress in your life
A shift in your thinking and you could make you a more confident person
A shift in your thinking and you could make you feel happier
A shift in your thinking and you could make you feel more successful
All while wearing smaller pants!
So how does this wonderful transformation take place?
I completely understand why you would ask that question. After all I am offering a lot of success for a small amount of investment of your time, commitment, energy, and money. After all, even if you haven’t been on a diet before (unlikely) you will know of people who would love to lose weight and it seems like it is just a mind-numbing struggle.
On this program you are going to remove the word struggle and replace it with two words.
We can also add other words like
- REWARDS (not chocolate and wine, more fitness, health and happiness)
Seriously, you are going to amaze yourself at how easily your life is transformed. Stepping up to the plate and hitting a home run. Forget the horror stories of failed goals and a life of disappointments. I have your back. I am there for you for every hop, step and jump. No But(t)s, just setting and reaching your goals. Easy.
“no BUT(T)S!” I hear you say… yes, you do have to commit. No point in signing up and then giving up at the first hurdle (the good news is I will be right behind you with my hand on your butt giving you a help hand in the form of a push over.) After a few weeks it is going to get easier for you, and harder for me (less butt to push on).
The Loose Your Butt Program (known as the LTB Program, just so we don’t offend too many people!) is 12 weeks. We meet once a week and we go over your progress, we put you in a nice relaxed state so your subconscious mind can take in the changes it needs to make for you to achieve your goals and then you go off and complete your homework for the week.
At the end of the 12 weeks you will have
- Dropped at least one pants size (you will probably have to purchase a whole new wardrobe)
- You will feel less anxiety
- You will feel more confident
- You will have a strategy to continue with to keep you on track for the rest of your life
- You will be happier!
“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.
When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love. Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.” Marcus Aurelius
What’s holding you back?
What are the subconscious patterns that are creating your responses, not just to food but also to your life and relationships in general?
What would make your life brilliant?
Breaking it down… the big questions and quietly becoming aware of what maybe holding you back. This is a very gentle process and is not about blame. None of this process over the 12 weeks is about blame, but it is about responsibility.
Your subconscious brain has been thinking about our 1st session and your conscious brain is beginning to notice some of your behaviors. No beat-up, all just taking note without judgement although also understanding you are the only player in this game called “your life” and so it’s your responsibility to start the process of working out, not what you don’t want, but what you do want. A funny thing is, your subconscious mind can’t tell the difference so better to tell it the outcomes you want, not the outcomes you don’t want.
This the week when you dig a little deeper. What’s out there for you. What’s stopping you from getting over or maybe going around the obstacles? This week is when the games really begin. You have started observe your patterns, you may even at this stage, start to understand where they are coming from. It is all good to understand the issue but we seriously have to now address them and change them. You are now ready to understand who you really are. You are now also able to identify the behaviors that are not supporting your goals and more importantly, you are able to start changing them.
It is really starting to get exciting. You are not only are you now seeing subtle differences in your thinking, you are also starting to realise your goals are very achievable. You are now starting to feel in control and seeing yourself living the life, walking the talk and leaving behind the self-doubts and panic attacks caused by not truly understanding your inner power.
You are now making the changes you need. Life has gotten easier, even if it means you are finding it easier to stick to your goals. Things are coming clear, life is no longer a struggle, you know that you are capable of overcoming any obstacle. You know who you really are, not just a wife or a mother or business person. You are a vibrant wonderful, powerful individual with some easily discoverable patterns that no longer serve you. Ie you may think that it is your weight holding you back and making you feel unhappy but it could in fact be unhappiness causing you to eat. This program is not all about being overweight. It is about creating a life full of love, fun, laughter and control. By week five you will probably have a new (lighter) spring in your step as you begin to see that ‘you have got this!’
Half way! Now this the time you are really going to step up. The lies you have been telling yourself have to go. Time to truly confront your fears but don’t worry, all the ground work we have put it will make it easy. You are so full of optimism that you cant wait to take the next leap.
Get the plan Stan! This week you are going to plan your future (and we are not just talking dinners), we need strategies to ensure you don’t slip back into old habits when the program finishes. This new you is for life. This new life is about balance. Gone are the struggles, gone are the subconscious beliefs that you are not good enough to complete your goals and live your dreams. This is possibly the week that you have done enough to impress the family and get them on board with the changes you are making.
Focus, Focus, Focus.
When Bill Gates first met Warren Buffett, their host at dinner, Gates’ mother, asked everyone around the table to identify what they believed was the single most important factor in their success through life. Gates and Buffett gave the same one-word answer: “Focus.” (See more in The Snowball by Alice Schroeder).
If it is good enough for Bill Gates and Warren Buffett then it is certainly good enough for us.
We are going to focus on what we want and we are going to work out how to break it down to achievable goals.
Still working on the goals. What’s working and what may need a tweak. Plus, life hacks to make it easy. Now that you have left behind your limiting beliefs you are now working on bigger and bigger goals. These goals are going to set you up for a healthy and happy life for the rest of your life so this is an important week. You now have the ability to have discipline without deprivation in your life.
We are ditching the unhelpful thoughts and actions and it doesn’t even hurt any more. Clarity is your new reality. You are filtering the messages around you with a clarity that you have never experienced before.
Commitment and non negotiables. Life is not wishy washy. A great life is lived with rules that you are absolutely committed to in order to ensure that you achieve that great life. There are some things that cannot be negotiated on. If booze is your problem, then sorry but you will have to get rid of booze. There are many things that you have to stand for. If you have committed to exercise in your life to ensure that you stay fit and healthy then no matter what is going on in your life, you need to exercise. You commit and you make it happen. Week 12 is where you draw your bottom line and you never negotiate on whether it is flexible or not. No it is not, you have a plan and you plan to achieve it…
